1.8.2.3: Provide Travel Regulations Information

This process shall provide information to travelers concerning rules, regulations, and statuses that govern motor vehicle operation. The information may include location, and relevant timeframe(s). This process shall aggregate regulations from regulatory authorities based on the location and timeframe. The content and format of these messages shall be based upon the type of system receiving the data, whether for display to a human operator or for use by an automated driving system (ADS). This process shall also coordinate the distribution of traffic regulations with other METR Distribution Centers when a particular set of traffic rules or regulations extend beyond the boundaries of any one center's jurisdiction.
