connected_ev_roadside_signal_priority_request
This data flow is sent to the Manage Traffic function from the Manage Emergency Vehicles function and contains data necessary for an emergency vehicle, e.g., fire truck or ambulance, to preempt a traffic signal controller that is for a particular set of intersection control signals. The data flow is sent directly from the vehicle to the roadside equipment near one or more intersection controllers, which is assumed to be capable of giving preemption to the correct phase(s) for any received preemption request.
