This data flow is sent from the Manage Maintenance and Construction function to the Manage Traffic function to configure a field device that produces in-vehicle signage messages for passing vehicles, including those near a work zone area in order to warn incoming drivers with sufficient time to adjust their speed or select an alternate route. It consists of the following data items each of which is defined in its own DDE:
